Legal notices are sent to four mobile operators to require necessary steps to supply quality network services to customers.
The notice has been issued to the postal and telecommunications secretary, BTRC chairman and chief executives of 4 mobile operators Grameen, Robi, Banglalink and Teletalk.
It is requested to require all necessary steps to supply quality network service within seven days of receiving the notice. Otherwise, action are going to be taken, the notice said.
Mohiuddin Ahmed, president of the mobile Subscribers Association, journalist Mehedi Hasan Dalim and Supreme Court lawyer Md. Advocate Ishrat Hasan on behalf of Rashidul Hasan sent the legal notice on Saturday (November 26).
Lawyer Ishrat Hasan said mobile subscribers were suffering thanks to weak networks and slow internet. The mobile companies aren’t ready to provide the standard of service that’s charged to the customer. that’s why they got notice. If this doesn’t work, a writ petition are going to be filed within the supreme court .
